Syllabus
Dear Parents/Guardians,
My name is Debi Kosloff and I will be your child’s 6th or 8th Grade mathematics teacher. I am so excited to begin this new endeavor, entering into the 2018/2019 school year at Mauro Sheridan. I am dedicated to providing your child with a quality education to ensure that he/she has a successful and exciting school year.
Please review the Mathematics topics your child will be studying this year, which are both very exciting and challenging:
Algebra
Pre Algebra: Course 3
Grade 6: Course 1
Your child will be responsible to keep a yearly math binder. This binder will help your child organize all of his/her homework, classwork/notes, math guide sheets and tools, vocabulary, philosophical debates and Assessments/Performance Tasks. Please have your child bring a three-ring-binder to math class. Please contact me if this is not possible and I will support you in any way possible.
Entering into this new school year, I would like to go over some procedures/policies to make sure that your child thrives and grows. I firmly believe that it does indeed Take a Village to Raise a Child. To that end, I value and look forward to your support, input and expertise. Working together I am confident your child will have a productive, challenging and successful school year.
I would appreciate if you would sit down with your child to read and review…
